Coenobita variabilis - Australian Land Hermit Crab
Imagine our surprise to find a fresh, beautiful polished Turbo shell stuck well under a rotting log in the beachside scrub of Fitzroy Island. Then it grew legs and started walking. Nothing cuter than a hermit crab! If you observe carefully you will also see that the cause of the Turbo's demise was an octopus (slightly angular hole clearly visible). "
